We have created a range of fresh, modern designs (motifs) for weddings, boudoir, families, newborn and maternity, that can be embossed on album covers. This is a great option when you don’t have time to create your own artwork, yet you don’t want to offer a plain album cover, or you’d like to keep your album designs uniform.

Motif Embossings have been created for Boudoir, Newborn, Maternity, Family and Wedding albums. The galleries below display the design as sized on a 10x10" album cover.  Some designs are not available on smaller albums or on Velvet or Macrosuede materials.  Please see the notes below the designs for more information.

HOW TO ORDER

Its simple! That’s the best part! When ordering simply choose the motif design code from the dropdown menu on the online order form. You can view the different motif designs during the ordering process by clicking on the 9 small dots next to the “MOTIF DESIGN CODE”  dropdown box.

EMBOSSING POSITIONS

Motif designs are embossed as shown in the images below.  If you would like your motif embossed in a different position this may be possible - please make a note of this in the comments box before adding your order to the shopping cart.  The motif designs below are all displayed as sized on a 10x10" album cover.  Not all designs will fit on smaller albums - check the notes to see which size albums are excluded.  Also please note not all motif designs are suitable for embossing on Velvet or Macrosuede materials.

EMBOSSING FOILS

You can emboss your album cover, or many of our other products, in the following foil colours – Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Copper, Light Blue, Light Green, Dusty Pink, Hot Pink, Red, Rainbow, Silver Hologram, Electric Blue, Turquoise, Gunmetal, Black and White. 

We also offer Blind embossing where no foil is used, and you will see the indentation of the embossing only.  Blind embossing works best on Premium and Classic Leathers as the material is thick, yet soft, so the embossing die can make a good impression into the leather.

VELVET - You can only emboss on Velvet material with Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Red and Black foils, or blind embossing.  Please note that the foil embossing on Velvet is more delicate and should be handled with care.  Please do not rub your hands over the foil or the foil could flake.

Make sure to order a set of Foil Swatches so you can easily see what the different foils will look like on different materials.

For practical reasons not all foils work well on every material.  Please see the table below for our details rules and recommendations.  NR = not recommended

LINEN ***     Our Linen range includes Linens with a small, tight weave and also Linens with larger, coarse weave which do not emboss well.  The Linens that do not emboss well include Natural Blend & Oatmeal.
